About

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Sir George Martin is sometimes referred to as "the Fifth Beatle.” He is considered to be one of the greatest record producers of all-time. He had 30 number one hit singles in the UK and 23 number one hits in the USA, including of course, The Beatles, as well as Cilla Black, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Jeff Beck, Kenny Rogers, Cheap Trick, America and many others.

The Bond Suite consists of arrangements of the James Bond theme and a funky version of “Live And Let Die,” followed by Theme One (written for BBC Radio One) and the more sedate theme to Elizabeth and Essex, as well as two Johann Sebastian Bach pieces, “Prelude For Strings,” and “Air On The G String.” The Beatle Suite lasts for nine minutes and features “Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds,” and “A Day in the Life.” Tracks from Yellow Submarine include “Pepperland, “March of the Meanies,” “Desolation,” “Voyage Through the Seas of Time; Holes and Monsters,” and “Yellow Submarine.”
