Will Smith SEVEN POUNDS reunites Academy Award nominee Will Smith with the director and producers of The Pursuit Of Happyness. Ben (Will Smith) is a distraught IRS agent tormented by events in his past. Seeking resolution, and even salvation, Ben sets out to find seven strangers whose lives he can impact in a positive way. Along his journey, he meets and falls in love with Emily (Rosario Dawson) — one of the very people he had charged himself with helping. As it turns out, Emily may indeed be able to bring more to Ben’s life than he anticipated or even imagined. Amid Ben’s increasingly complicated relationships, he also befriends a blind pianist (Woody Harrelson), who offers Ben further insights on life itself.
